Morningstar MC8 MIDI not working with latest Tonex firmware

I upgraded the Tonex firmware today and my Morningstar MC8 sends MIDI messages but they are NOT triggering Tonex to follow the messages. I spent two hours trying to troubleshoot to no avail. Very frustrating!

Everything was working fine with the previous firmware. I’m at loss to explain the malfunctioning.

Anybody have any troubleshooting suggestions?

My MC8 is running the latest firmware and I’m using the online MIDI editor in Chrome via a Mac Studio.

I got it working - MIDI cable went bad.

Sticking with the Boss MIDI cables from here on out. So long cheap Amazon cables!
