Plugging a Mic into Amplitube 5

Anyone try plugging in a mic into Amplitube? I read some earlier posts that say it's not made for mics, but it seems to work, I think. I'm bypassing the amp and running a direct DI signal. I can even add effects like reverb. Does anyone else have success with this?

You can definitely use Amplitube on a microphone. What are you recording? Is it vocals or an itnstrument?
