AmpliTube 5 black screen - does not display amps/effects

Hi All,

Apologies if this topic has been posted and I missed it, hoping someone can help with this very recent AmpliTube 5 screen display issue [I'd attach at picture if I could].

I have been using AT5 in Pro Tools (v24.6) for a year just fine, and now when I click the AT5 plugin icon to open the settings I just see the menu bar at the top and just a black screen where the amps and effects should be displayed. I can't think of any recent changes to AVID or my settings that would have caused this issue.

Since no other users have chimed in about your issue I'd suggest opening a ticket with IK Support for direct and official technical support via https://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/sw if you have not already done so.

If you are not on the latest version of AmpliTube 5, I would check that via IK Product Manager and install it first to see if that helps. Thank you.

Thanks Peter, I'm guessing this doesn't happen often. I used the img tags to post a screenshot below. For troubleshooting, I have also created a new project and added AT5 to a new track and still got the same results. Also, this is my only plugin this is occurring, all the other plugins I have checked are working OK.

Hoping someone knows how to fix this, if not I'll open an official ticket in a few days if it's not resolved - thank you.

Thanks everyone, I see there have been a lot of views. I "officially" opened a ticket with IK Multimedia and I will update this post once it's figured out - thanks.

Hi All, wanted to put this ticket to rest and post an update. The AT5 is working correctly now, I can see the amps/effect/etc in the Pro Tools plugin window. However, I don't know what was done or changed to resolve the issue. I opened the below support ticket with IKM and received the (maybe automated) response of things to check, and everything was OK. Then, about 3 days later AT5 just started working again. So, I don't know what, or if, anything was done but it's working now.
