The lack of an "Official AmpliTube 6 FEATURES Wishlist" thread seems to indicate that there are no plans for amplitube 6, is that the case? Is there a plan to continue to have actual amp and effects sims instead of just captures?

Absolutely. We haven't ever titled a wishlist thread with a future product name/version, that would end up being confusing to some who will assume that means it is available.
