Tonex USB lockup

When I plugin my tonex pedal with the USB plugged in to it pedal locks up
with a blank screen no sound if I boot tonex without the USB plugged in boots fine.
Is this normal??

I'm finally getting around to using my Pedal on my Mac as well and it did the same thing, but now even when its not hooked up by USB it's still Bricked. This pedal has worked fine for me the past month just using it as a pedal until I could have time to play on the computer with it. As soon as I did the Firmware Update on ToneX it locked up and went blank. Waiting for Tech support to contact me [mod redacted editorial, unnecessary]
