Vintage D amp tone changed drastically after update

Postby brandonf233 » Thu Jan 18, 2024 9:28 pm

I updated amplitube and immediately noticed the Vintage D amp model tone was significantly different in the previous version. I had to rollback the update since I used this model on many tracks. Why would they change the tone??? It is making me consider switching amp modelers.

see video link for example:

I'm sure IK Support can help that as no changes were made to the DSP of that amp that would affect the tone drastically. Please open a ticket with IK Support via http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/sw and they will happily assist you.

Its kind of hard to tell by the video.

Can you check the speaker settings? Also check the room mic settings? Its possible they got changed or reset?

click the little speaker icon and check the speaker that is assigned to the amp.
