interface not loading in properly

I've just installed AT5, and whether I launch it as a standalone or in Cakewalk, it boots but none of the visuals load in properly. All i can see is the selection down the side and the knobs for the amp but everything is either black or it pops in as i hover the mouse over each button and then goes away. Is this a problem with my computer or is there anything else I need to do?
