Hi guys,
So I just want to make the transition from acoustic to electric an I've never played with an amp.
Considering buying an electric guitar and because I want to have enough flexibility with sounds and effects to emulate the songs from the different artists that I like, I thought about Amplitube.
My question here is, what else do I need? Is a guitar amp still necessary or can I make it with the AXE I/O and speakers? Is this even a good idea?
I'd appreciate your support and suggestions, thanks!

The topic made me laugh.
You need an audio interface. It can be the axe I/O or another brand/model. To listen, you can use speakers or headphones.
Alternatively, you can install Asio4all and connect the electric guitar cable directly into the mic/line input of the computer with an adapter (6.35mm to 3.5mm jack) (This is not reliable and is just for pure noobs), but it can work.
