I have Amplitube Max and Tonex Max. I use both on a mac mini through an AXE IO. I send it out from my Mac through the AXE IO to a pair of Alto 8 inch Speakers.
I do not have the pedal yet and was wondering if any of you can tell me if there is a differnce in the quality of sound running purely on the pedal DSP vs the computer processing.
The reason I ask is because I think it sounds pretty good. But if I run my Eleven Rack through the same setup, or my friend's FM3 through it, it makes TONEX sound like it has a wet blanket over it compared to the other two..
So I have to wonder if there may be some DSP magic in the pedal that I do not have using the computer.
