I'm rather new to using guitar plugins, so please bear with me here. I just downloaded AmpliTube 5 for the Dimebag CFH collection. The tones seem pretty spot on, but for some reason I'm just not getting the punch to have the tones scream when using pinch harmonics. I've currently only messed with adjusting the amp head adjustments, but that didn't give their performance that I was looking for. I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the direction to get stronger punch for those harmonics.
Current Setup
-Jackson soloist with a JB hum bucker pickup.
-Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface.
-Good studio headphones.
I have had pretty solid pinch harmonic performance from this same setup through the BiasFX2 platform. Personally, I think the AmpliTube environment is more polished.
Any advice to save me some hours of tweaking aimlessly would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advice!
