Tonex pedal suddenly turns off on midi message received

Hi! I'm using a Raspberry Pi4 as midi usb hub to send midi signals to Tonex pedal which is connected to it via usb type-b cable. Tonex pedal shuts down randomly every now and then when a midi message is sent from rPi4 to Tonex pedal. Still need to understand if it happens with a particular midi message. Nothing fancy, I just send CC and PC messages. Has anybody experienced this issue?
