Tonex capture issue

So I have been trying to capture my JVM410 OD1 channel. When I get to step 3 no matter what I do I get nothing but feedback before I can get the levels right. I have used the Tonex capture box as well as my Rivera rock crusher. I have tried one mic, two mics, head only and even attempted to involve my DAW to get things routed another way. nothing has worked to get rid of the feedback. The capture does go through at the lower volumes but I do get a high noise warning. I never had these kinds of issues when I had my Kemper. I am able to complete captures just at very low volumes.
