Amplitube 5.5.0 VST3 update crashes Abelton

I just updated AmpliTube 5 to 5.5.0 (Windows 10) and Ableton crashes immediately on start. I have the VST3 version of Amplitube 5 on my starting template. So I deleted my Ableton template folder to launch into default mode and as soon as I drag the VST3 version into my project it crashes again. I tried with the VST2 version and got no crashes. I also reinstalled it completely from IKPM and still no luck on the VST3. Any tips?
