ProTools 21.6 on M1

Postby BrandonCook75 » Wed Sep 22, 2021 7:39 pm

I'm running a New MacBookPro M1 with protools 21.6. I just downloaded and installed AmpliTube 5. It will not open as a standalone or will it allow to use as a plugin in ProTools. If there's a thread about this already, my apologies. Please direct me to that if possible.

Thank you for your time.

Hello BrandonCook75 and welcome to the forums.

My first guess would be that AT5 does not yet run native on M1/Big Sur, so make sure you are opening PT or the standalone in Rosetta 2 mode.

If you are already doing that and still having issues, as this is a user-to-user forum and not direct to IKM support, the best thing to do is check the FAQs, via this link...

If these do not resolve the issue, there is a link to the Technical Support form at the top of the Search FAQs page, for direct help from Official IK Support. They endeavour to reply within 2 working days, but obviously considering the current situation things may take longer than usual.

And, to help others who run into a similar problem, please let us know what you did to resolve the issues, but without directly quoting any correspondence from official support.
