mplitube 5 SE NOT WORKING for input channel 2

Amplitube 5 SE is not taking any signal from input channel 2 , i am using Komplete audio 1 interface , it is working perfectly fine with Amplitube 4 ,
I tried input channel 1 ( which is XLR input for a mic) and it is taking signal from Channel 1 ,
I cannot try my guitar so far on the new software untill i get a XLR-Guitar cable ,
anyone had a similar issue ?

A number of users are posting about issues of which inputs on their interfaces are working in AT5. Hopefully, they are also opening tickets with official IK Support as well so it can be addressed.

I'm in the same situation, albeit with a different interface. Input 1 works fine but input 2 doesn't when selected as the left channel. However, in Settings in AT5 if I select input 2 as left channel and input 1 as right channel then signal comes through on channel 2. Hope that makes sense.

Try it and see if it works on your Komplete AI. I would DEFINITELY NOT connect your guitar using a jack to XLR cable for a couple of reasons. 1) Channel 1 of your interface is expecting a mic to be plugged into it, not a guitar. Given the different gain structures it probably won't work properly. 2) If you accidentally switch phantom power on it may well do something nasty (and costly) to the electronics in your guitar.

If you really can't wait for a fix to the app (which may well be incoming already) I would suggest that you get a DI box to connect between your guitar and input 1 of your AI.
