Amp GUI doesn’t change, any ideas? [Resolved]

Postby overg1 » Sat Jul 18, 2020 5:39 pm

Recently I bought several packs:

Fender Princeton, Bassman

When I am opening the app it open with the default amp GUI.
Changing to a different amp change the sound, but doesn’t change the amp GUI.
Any ideas or workaround how to fix this very annoying bug?

Hi overg1

That sounds like an odd one! I haven't' seen it come up before and I've just tried on my system and can't replicate the issue, so I don't think it's a widespread bug.

As this is a user-to-user forum and not direct to IKM support, in case no one else chimes in here with advice or a solution, you should raise a ticket with IK official support here https://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/sw/

They endeavour to reply within 2 working days, but obviously considering the current situation things may take longer than usual.

I have seen several post regarding this problem.
I already wrote several times to technical support but from some reason they didn’t answer.

If this is the case, can I direct you to the rules of posting once you have opened a ticket here viewtopic.php?f=10&t=19505" and specifically to number 2:

"This is a user-to-user forum and if you feel a user may have a solution in the mean time then you must included your ticket number and when you opened this ticket in your post so the team can verify..."

If you have not got a response to a ticket with support, you can reply to your own original ticket telling them that you are still having issues and have they any advice for you. They endeavour to reply to tickets within 2 working days, but obviously considering the current situation things may take longer than usual.

Ahh, ok. On a Presonus forum.

The workaround given (to switch the monitor off/on) suggests a problem on Studio One. Do you see the same behaviour when you have AT4 standalone open or in another DAW (if you have one)?

I've used Studio One 4 since it came out and I've never seen this issue with Amplitube 4. I'm using Studio One 5 now. I'm on an iMac running the lastest version of Catalina.

It seems that hard reset to the computer solved the prob.
Very weird!
