accidentally overwrote a preset. how do I restore it?

I was trying to work out a preset for World On Fire by Slash and went to save my progress. I made a new folder and saved it there, renamed it and all. It does not show up there and it appears what I was working on over wrote the driving rain preset I has started with. Any easy way to restore it? just a reinstall? or...?

When I remember I make a ZIPPed archive of the factory-installed presets, just in case.
