AmpliTube and Apollo Twin

Postby jamesfaron » Sun Dec 02, 2018 12:39 am

I am not able to run AmpliTube using my Apollo Twin. It wants to work for a few seconds then I lose connection to AmpliTube. Has anyone had this problem? If this is discussed in another message, can you give me the link? :D
Thanks

AmpliTube should work with any proper Audio interface. I’d suggest opening a ticket with IK support who can troubleshoot with you directly. They can be reached at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support Thank you.

What happens with Amplitube under a VST Host? You probably want the Apollo ASIO driver set to the lowest latency possible.

Under VST using Cubase I experienced the same results.

But Cubase and other company's VSTFX are running ok when you don't load Amplitube?

Are you loading VST2 or VST3 version of Amplitube?

Yes, Cubase and my plugins seem to be running correctly. It's AmpliTube that doesn't want to play nice in the sandbox. I will be mixing today and will have a better understanding on all my plugins later today.

First thing I would suggest is uninstall completely, reboot, then reinstall using the latest 4.8 installer.

OK, I cleaned everything out of the computer. All files, folders, hidden files, etc... Reinstalled the program. Still doing the same thing.
However, I am able to play AmpliTube 4 - British Collection - British - Brit 8000, all presets. If I change to anything else, the program stops working. I tried all latency options. Restarted a few times after changing latency and nothing seems to work.

I pulled out a Focusrite itrack solo and plugged it all in. Amplitude4 worked like a champ. Plugged in Apollo Twin and Amplitude4 and the same problem occurred.

If you haven't done already, please raise a Support Ticket, here;

(or reply to your existing ticket) and let them know all those details. They should be able to provide some one to one advice.
