Bypass Midi On/Off on Stomp I/O

Postby disisit » Tue Oct 23, 2018 10:09 pm

When I'm trying to learn midi with the on/off switch of a pedal in Amplitube I cannot set it up in a way that when a certain pedal/effect is on, I'd like the footswitch to light up. It's the opposite of how I want it set up.

I tried learning midi while the pedal is on and bypassed, still no luck. What's going on? :x

Hello,

Thanks for your post!

Sorry to hear of your troubles.

It's a little unclear what you are asking here. The iRig Stomp I/O when used with AmpliTube should show the state of your pedals (On/Off state) with the LEDs above the pedals. If this is not showing correctly, please contact IK Multimedia technical support.

Make sure you are using the latest version of AmpliTube from your User Area -> My Products section of your IK Multimedia account (https://www.ikmultimedia.com/userarea/my-products/). Check the user manual here for how this pedal should operate. This should help clarify some information.

Note - The MIDI menu in the lower right hand corner of AmpliTube can be used to adjust your MIDI assignments. Maybe try swapping the MIN and MAX values if you are looking to have the iRig Stomp I/O work outside of the description of the user manual.
