AT3 American Vintage B Model

This model is one of my favorite bass amp models. According to the AmpliTube 3 manual, this amp is based on the "Fender Bassman." Okay, fine, but which one? There are more than a dozen different Fender "Bassman" amps. I have the certified '59 Bassman model, which is a 4 X 10 combo (presumably with a model of the 5F6-A preamp circuit from 1958-1960), and I think is still a 45-watt power amp (I don't think it's the reissue "LTD" model, because that's a two-channel amp). I also have the Bassman Pro 300 model, which is obviously a very different amplifier.

But the American Vintage B model has a 100-watt 6L6 power section model, which leads me to believe it's based on the 1972-1977 Bassman 100. Can anyone confirm this?

Hey emurphy94108,

Thanks for your post.

The American Vintage B model is based on the Fender® Bassman® Silverface. This was based on the model used by Jimi Hendrix in the studio recording of “Voodoo Child."

Thanks for the reply! Did you guys get access to that actual, specific amplifier? Or did you just model a the same type of amplifier?
