Amplitube 4 Install issues [resolved by OP]

I'm having some trouble and though I found similar threads still not sure what to do. Got a lot working against me here as I am a mentally disabled vet and new to all things guitar but trying to pick it up as a means of enjoyment.

I just bought a Les Paul Standard and an IRIG HD2 with Amplitube 4. I downloaded all of the software (Amplitube, Custom Shop and Management software). I believe that I installed the Amplitube app first and then when I tried to install the Custom Shop app, it said it (version 4) was already installed... Maybe I installed Custom Shop first, but same outcome.

So I can get Custom Shop to launch, but not Amplitube. I see what appears to be a link to Amplitube in Custom Shop, but clicking it does nothing and I get no sound from the guitar at all, although my "speaker/headphone" selection shows "IRIG 2 HD Speakers" in Windows 10. I believe this is issue might be because of the ASIO driver? Do I just need to download and install the driver to get Amplitube to launch? I couldn't locate a standalone "Amplitube" executable file anywhere, just the Custom Shop exe...

Also, I saw nothing about how to get these apps on my IOS IPhone 7.

I found the thread that I needed to solve my problem. I just needed to Authorize it and Install the driver. Works fantastic now!

Hello. i`ve got the very same issue with my amplitube 4. i Cant get it launch. How did you do it.

OP authorized and installed a driver (iRig HD 2 requires ASIO4ALL on Windows per this FAQ: www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/3615 ).

If you follow the steps at that FAQ and have properly authorized AmpliTube 4 and you still have issues please open a ticket with IK Support at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support
