Just wondering if there’s any timeline for providing AT5 support for the Apple M1?
Thank you.

In hopes of helping others I’ll share support’s response to my inquiry:
=========================
Thanks for your patience while we got back to you.

Most IK products are compatible with M1 macOS systems using Rosetta 2. Upon installing IK Product Manager for the first time you will see a message requesting you install this. In short, Rosetta 2 enables a Mac with Apple silicon to use apps built for a Mac with an Intel processor.

Currently MODO DRUM is not compatible with M1 systems. This is due to a lack of AVX instructions with the M1 chip.

Below is a list of all software confirmed compatible with M1 macOS systems.

ARC System 3.0.2
Syntronik 1.2.0b
Miroslav Philharmonik 2.0.6
T-RackS 5.4.0
AmpliTube 5.0.2
MODO BASS 1.5.2
Lurssen Mastering Console 1.1.0
Hammond B-3X version 1.1.1
SampleTank 4 version 4.1.3
MixBox 1.1.1
AXE I/O Control Panel 1.1b
Custom Shop 2.0
IK Product Manager 1.0.3
UNO Drum Editor 1.1.0b
UNO Synth Editor 1.1.0b
UNO Drum Anthology Libraries (1.0.0)
UNO Drum Firmware Update (1.0.2)*
UNO Synth Firmware Update (1.1.4)*
iRig Firmware Update (1.13)*
iRig Keys I/O Firmware Update (1.0.11)
iLoud MTM Firmware Updater 1.1.4
*Notarization to follow.

Please check this page or your IK product's specifications page for full information on the current officially compatible operating systems.

FYI Amplitube 5 seems to work just great on my M1 Mac Mini (switched from an old Mac Pro) both as a standalone and via Logic. Can only imagine it will get better when it eventually goes universal.

It looks like Ableton's getting ready for M1 native support in their public beta, although will it still need to run in Rosetta to use IK plugins. Will be great if IK supports M1 natively soon as well.

MODO DRUM is M1 native now. We don't have a public roadmap for others, but if you need more information please contact support and they may have more information for you.

I haven't found an answer to my query (but I am not that good at searching the forum...) but I recently purchased my first mac. A mac mini with m1. My question is: is sampletank 3 compatible with m1 or can I run it under rosetta? Or do I have to get ST4?

SampleTank 4 would be the version to run, it is running well under Rosetta but should also be updated to M1 native.

Thank you Peter!
Does that mean that ST3 does NOT run under rosetta?
(I currently own ST3, hence my concern)

It is not supported on M1 processors and Moneterey. Personally I wouldn't try running it for that reason but I suppose it could run but if there are any problems there won't be any support for it.

Note that SampleTank 3 sounds will run inside the free SampleTank 4 CS anyway.
