I've very new to all this and diving in head first, sorry for any cluelessness. I've got a PreSonus Audiobox USB 96 and it works fine getting the input of the guitar, but I'm having a hell of a time figuring out the output and using the program as an amp simulator. In the audio MIDI setup the output is greyed out so I can't choose my speakers to hear anything. But I have an aux cable to guitar cable adapter and have that plugged into the Phones output of the Audiobox interface. I can hear the guitar perfectly BUT none of the amp effects play, it's just completely clean. So far the only way to hear any of the effects is to record a track and export it, which is an extremely slow and painful way of adjusting the amp settings.
Also once I've recorded anything once I can't seem to record anything after that unless I make a new project or restart the program. I feel like I'm just missing something really obvious here. All I want to be able to do is hear the amp effects in real time as I strum. I can't seem to find any tutorials on this as all of them already seem to start with this working already. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
