Today I played around with AT4 in search of some nice sounds. While I was tweaking the mic positions and volumes, I had a (hopefully) great idea:
Please make AT4 a multi-out plugin!!!
That means that we can route the mic channels and the room channel to seperate tracks in our DAWs for better and more flexible mixing/processing. That means we could EQ and compress and whatever the mics independently and blend them together in the DAW. Just like we can do it with, for example drum plugins, where we route Kick, Snare, HiHat,... to seperate tracks in the DAW and process/mix them there.
Wouldn´t it be fantastic to have this feature with AT4?
I hope I am not the only one who thinks this way.
I mean, it's great kind of doing a guitar submix partially (or wholly) within the plug-in, but a multi-out option would offer more flexibility and perhaps ramp up the "pro" vibe of things. Has my vote!
