tonex editor input gain level meter gone

Why did level meter for input gain that was below the circular trim knob disapear from the settings?
I know i can set the gain directly on the pedal but why the need to remove it from the editor?

Does noone else care for the input gain level meter missing from the global settings in the new update?

Removing some interface elements helps the software to be neater, focusing on other important features.

With all the talk on the internet about input gain settings, I would think removing the level meter is kind of a weird choice.
But maybe there is a good reason for it???
