TONEX ONE iOS volume always max

I'm new to TONEX ONE, running on FW 1.3.11
When connected to my iPhone 16 (latest iOS version) I can't control volume in any way. Output volume is always at maximum, which renders the pedal useless for mobile play along.
However when using CUBASIS I can at least reduce the output channel volume within CUBASIS to be able to use it for mobile recording.

Neither the volume knob on the unit nor the iOS controls affect the output volume. Switching DIRECT MONITORING on/off does not change the maxed out volume either.

Just to be clear: This is an iOS issue only. It works perfectly on my Mac.

BTW: A direct access to the MONITORING switch would be highly appreciated.
