Hi, I'm wondering if someone could help me with this? Although I love lots of the amps within Amplitube I would like to use my real amp as well. It's a vintage type amp that doesn't have a loop or line out so the input to Amplitube is a 2x12 mic'd up with a Shure 57.
I have tried doing this by switching off both the amp and cab, the amp only and also by DI'ing it.
The results are that the sound is fizzy and nowhere near the tone from the amp. I tried multiple mic positions but same result.
I then fed the same input into Reaper and GarageBand and the sound is very close to what's coming from the amp, so the "problem" is in Amplitube.
Now I know this isn't what the program was designed for, but has anyone succeeded in doing this?
