Official TONEX Features wish list

I can't seem to find anything with the search function, so I will go ahead and post. How about the ability to include fx settings in the uploaded tone model? Perhaps the ability to upload the .txp files instead? If there is a way I have surely missed it. I do some tweaking to the tone models after capturing it, but when I upload to tone.net, it is the capture without the tweaks. Tonex has the "preset" ability, so can we upload those instead?

• Multiple chained models in same preset (so I can separate stomps from amp)
• Customize training time and/or GPU memory use - if I have GPU let me use it fully
• Edit gain trim after model has been captured
• Better organization/management/preview of IRs

Then there is a hardware idea that would be a new product with hardware and software components. I'm not sure if this would actually work but...

I'm trying to capture classic fuzz pedals and it is very difficult to get the same sound and experience as having the guitar directly plugged to the fuzz. I understand this is because of the impedance of the passive guitar pickups and the fuzz input circuit. So how about a capture box that can better match that interaction. Fuzz is great to play with the volume and tone knobs of the guitar. Can this be enhanced with better captures or some other means of modeling/simulating the pickups, volume, and tone of the guitar? Maybe these can be achieved with a clever use of both AI and digitally controlled circuits?

Would love a Tonex web app (PWA) to be able to upload captures to my Tonex One from any computer with a browser. Linux, Chrome OS, Android and iOS support would then all work out of the box)

1. Allow users to opt out of warning dialogs. So annoying to drag and drop a preset and have an overwrite warning popup, ever single time. This requires time and a completely unnecessary click.

2. Let’s separate effect pedals, eg items that are going to go in the stompbox preset. Super annoying to be combing through other stuff when I’m just wanting stompboxes. And let’s allow users to decide what columns they want visible and not limit how wide or narrow I want them!

3. Stop hiding stuff by using non-standard UI. For example, make me s button to import presets! [mod redacted - please stick to the feature requests and review the rules when posting on this forum]

It would improve the usability and mobility of the TONEX hardware by 100%!!

Tone knob or low pass filter for digital delay. I like darker repeats.
Ideally BBD delay as well. But the darker repeats is the only thing from doing all I really use.

As there is already a software version of the four X-Gear pedals that works inside Amplitube 5, it would be awesome if these software plugins could also be made to work inside Tonex.

For example, in the delay block of Tonex software, I currently see DIGITAL and TAPE options in the drop-down menu. But if I owned the X-Time plugin, then I'd also see the 16 algorithms from that software/pedal.
Same situation for the X-Vibe algorithms showing up in the Tonex Modulation block, and X-Space algorithms showing up in the Tonex Reverb block.

Not sure if this is even possible, or if the Tonex Pedal's DSP could handle running these algorithms alongside the Tonex tone models. (Could be too heavy for the pedal, particularly if you had a preset running Tone Model > stereo X-Vibe mod > stereo X-Time delay > stereo X-Space reverb).

But I think it would be awesome if we could purchase additional effects in the same way we can purchase additional tone models.

My wish is having a list of what presets are on the pedals both tonex pedal and tonex one when they are disconnected from the tonex app. The big pedal has the screen so you can scroll through so it is not as big of an issue.

But the tonex one once you disconnect you have no visual record of the order of your 20 presets flipping through blind.

My workaround is to take a photo of the tonex screen. But because of the inability to change the size of windows in the tonex app I have to take 5 screenshots and cut and paste them together to get all 20 presets on one page to print out.

Have a tonex one tab and a tonex pedal tab that remembers last save state to the pedal. And or the ability to print a page of that screen as a

Hi - I've been using the full-size Tonex pedal as my main rig for almost a year now and the added effects in the November '24 update have been fantastic.

There are two things that currently have me shopping for other external effects units and MIDI control, however, that I would not need to buy if they were able to be implemented on the Tonex pedal.

- Crucially, effects spillover. Reverb and delay trails between patches would be phenomenal.
- The ability to split the outputs to have an IR active on one and the other with the IR disabled. Currently split my signal to an Orange Pedal Baby (to power a cab on stage) and then to an IR loader > IEM rack for my ears. If this could be done in the box, like AXE-FX/Kemper, it would be a gamechanger.

I could junk 4 pedals from my board (delay, reverb, IR loader & MIDI controller) if IK were able to implement these two features on the Tonex Pedal.

I'm sure it has been said, but the ability to send emulated out of one output and no cab out the other. I would even accept it being the headphone out if it had to be.

Hi! I'm trying to use TONEX big pedal for playing live and I found a couple of issues.
1. As soon as there are time based effects on the board, it would be nice to have small indicator on the TONEX pedal screen (e.g. flashing dot or some symbol) showing current BPM tempo.
2. With a new added effects, TONEX pedal looks like small pedalboard. Unfortunately, the pedal still can't work like real pedalboard due to the following issue. By default delay effect is switched off on all my presets. When I need delay, I press appropriate button on my MIDI-controller. Controller sends MIDI-message to the pedal and also turns on the button LED. Everything works! But! When I change preset, delay effect is automatically switched off but the button LED on MIDI-controller is still turned on. So, I have mismatch. If I could turn effects on and off "globally" via MIDI, then it could be a solution.
