You basically will need to turn down the output on the pedal if you are using it as an audio interface and routing it to the same outputs. NOTE: For its structure, TONEX ONE monitoring is always active so you should disable the monitoring function inside your DAW/application.

That is exactly what I cannot do with Tonex One in TonexSE or Amplitube5SE. There is no way to switch monitoring off. This has forced me to work differently. What I do now is to use both TonexSE and Amplitube5SE, assigned to my ASIO Focusrite Scarlett2i2 audio interface, that has a direct monitor off-on switch. I work all the tone editing that way, and only once the tones are ready, I plug the Tonex One in to put the tones in with th TonexSE librarian. I can live with that, but it would be very nice if IK addresses this issue in the next firmware/software update.

Why does Tonex One lack the ability to switch off monitoring in TonexSE or Amplitube5SE, unlike other audio interfaces that offer this feature?
Embedded TONEX ONE firmware 1.1.3
* Added option to enable/disable direct monitoring from the TONEX Librarian Global Setup panel when used as an audio interface.
* It is now possible to adjust the input trim level precisely from the TONEX Librarian Global Setup panel.
* It is now possible to edit the A4 reference for the tuner.
* Other controls available in the TONEX Librarian Global Setup panel.
