Just a quick one on what seems to work for me since my interface has a -15db all the way left and no indication of where zero might be.
Pink noise at -24db feed into AmpliTube hovers at 0db on it's meter. Must be more than a coincidence
On my presonus interface I apply pink noise at -24db to an input and adjusted the gain until I'm hitting the same on the level meter on the input.
My record input gain now matches Amplitube 0db level.
The rest of tone tweaking then depends on the output of the pickups being used.
