Why doesn't my output on my amp have any effects?
I have my guitar plugged into the guitar input. I have my amp plugged into the amp output.
I have tried with Thru FX on and off. With volume way up and way down. With gain way up and way down. With No Feedback on and off. I have tried every combination of these options that I can think of.
Still, the only thing coming out of my live amp is exactly the same as if I had plugged directly into the amp.
I have read some things that say I need some sort of converter to send the output through my headphone jack instead of the amp jack. If that is the case, what is the amp jack actually for.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. This is very frustrating. I have finally reached the point where I would like to do an open mic performance. This is the last piece of that puzzle. Help!
