I have a 2009 MacBook pro that has Logic Pro X on it, I just want to know if I will be able to download and run AmpliTube 5 Custom shop on it.

That seems to be the very bottom of the specs for AmpliTube 5, and I'm not 100% sure the OpenGL requirement is met. Are you able to try to install it via IK Product Manager? I bet it will run but will not be incredibly fast-loading. Your audio quality and lower latency would have to do with your audio interface so if you have a capable audio interface it is probably worth a shot.
