Using the gear I have and avoiding white noise

Postby davidchitty2020 » Sat Oct 15, 2022 5:11 pm

Hi all,

Bit new to all of this so sorry if a noob question.

Just got Amplitube 5! Love it!

One problem. When you have gear you don't have, it starts up with the white noise thing.

Is there a way to apply a filter or a global setting that just gives you stuff you already have bought? Once I get something with white noise on it, it just carries on despite changing the gear over to stuff I have.

I really don't want the fear for clicking and then just having white noise all the time.

This is especially bad in tonenet, as I can't preview without the white noise jumping on.

Hello davidchitty2020 and welcome to the forums.

In the top right hand corner of the AT5 GUI is a picture of a guitar combo with either a tick, a cross or a tick and a cross next to it. If you press that and cycle round so it's the tick, then AT5 will only show you gear you own and presets you can use without the white noise.

Hope that helps
