Expression pedal from ableton to amplitube 5

Hi - I have an expression pedal that I can see in the midi automation in ableton as expression control CC#11 on the track automation. When I go into amplitube and hit learn on the wah pedal (for example) no midi is received. Can someone please offer some guidance on how to get amplitube to recognize the expression control that is understood by ableton?
