Using ampkit link 2 but input left channel shows not connect

Trying to connect my guitar using ampkit link 2, I'm not sure if it is possible to connect it using this to my PC, it comes up in my devices but on amplitube the input left and right channels show "Not connected 1/2" and the MIDI input shows "ANY". I have ASIO installed and I've tried plugging the Ampkit into all 3 of the auido connecters on my sound card. as far as the other setting go

Technology: ASIO
Input device: ASIO4ALL v2

Output device: ASIO4ALL v2
Left channel: High Definition Audio device 1
Right channel: High Definition Audio device 2

Going to control pannel and changing the input device to my headset microphone works but then it sounds awful

Hello BakedBen347 and welcome to the forums.

Never heard of the ampkit link 2 before, but having a quick look online suggests that it's for iOS devices only. I suspect this is because the 3.5mm connector is for input and output together, so I don't think it will function correctly on your PC.

Someone else may chime in with a different conclusion though.
