I know the answer is probably 'no, that won't work', but I'm going to post anyway...
I was recently going through some old software recordings made using Amplitube 2, and came across a few good presets and sounds of my own.
I've attempted a straight copy of these in Amplitube 5 - same gear and same settings - and perhaps not surprisingly given the advances in the software, they sound nothing like each other. For a couple of my own sounds, I actually prefer what I came up with in Amplitube 2 to my attempted recreation in 5.
Has anyone got any tips or suggestions about how I might get them a bit closer?
Or is the answer simply - tweak and use your ears?
