I have limited hard drive space on the internal drive a Mac Mini M1. I'd like to offload IK software to an external drive. What IK software needs to remain on the primary drive and what software can be moved to an external drive?

I would keep all the software on the system drive. And move all the Sounds Libraries to another drive.

that makes sense.
some of the software made it clear that it was to be installed only on the drive that contained the operating system. I am presuming that virtual instruments that are physically modeled will need to be on the main drive and samples can be stored on the auxiliary drive.
thanks for the response
