Brand new Tonex pedal serial number issues code 206

Just got my new tonex pedal in from sweetwater and the serial number will not register. It is showing error code 206 "serial number does not exist"?
This unit is brand new not second hand.
I opened a ticket and they requested pictures of the S/N card and receipt, but there is no place to upload the picture??

Right now, I am very disappointed in how this is going so far.
