Question about Tonex software

I am a new Tonex device user and have enjoyed downloading some of the amp tones created by other users. However I ran into the 20 download limit. I see on the IK Multimedia website where they sell a piece of software called "AmpliTube Tonex", currently for $99. It says it provides unlimited user tone model downloads. So here are my two questions.
1. Does this software basically replace the "free" version of Tonex that came with my Tonex pedal?
2. If so, do I need to uninstall the "free" version before installing this more powerful version.

If you have TONEX Pedal, that would include TONEX MAX which does not have the limitation. Please make sure you have your TONEX Pedal registered to your IK account and you should see TONEX MAX in your IK Product Manager. That would need to be installed and authorized in order to work.
