Today I tried updating my Tonex Pedal to the latest Firmware 1.5.13 via my M1 Macbook Pro and it gave an error bricking the pedal. Tried recovery via the software, nothing. All this using a USB cable from the Tonex into a multiport dongle for my laptop.
Solution: I just tried again on a different computer, a Windows PC and it did recovered it following the steps shared above.
I'm assuming IK have issues with Mac, and if this is happening to a lot of people then maybe, if possible, try on Windows before freaking out, which I was about to.
