In short, I usually play my amplifier through a load box into my interface for recording, but I recently purchased the AT Max to experiment with new sounds. However, I'm struggling to balance input/output levels and produce good sounds from the presets.
I use a Focusrite 2i2 interface, and I'm wondering if there are any tips for balancing levels with presets, or if I have to adjust them manually every time. Some presets sound terrible when I load them.
Additionally, are there any basic tips for using this recording method in general? I am new to this type of recording method.
