Hi apologies if the post appears stupid in any way..
I'm getting on in years and have always played guitar direct through an amp with the odd drive & modulation pedal..
My question is simple .. I'm looking to replace my drive pedals with Amp models.. using the Tonex pedal for let's say 2 banks of 3 sounds... Clean, break up and driven sounds..
I'm not interested in capturing any amps, just downloading ones from various sites.. I'm interested in the ODS models..& maybe a Marshall type amp..
I've got a Delux reverb clone from Emprize, & I'm gigging in a pop duo & 4 piece band and simply put a SM57 in front of the amp & go through the PA..
I think I could use the Tonex using various amps captures and if the amp ever went tits up on a gig..& at home for the odd bit of recording I do...
Does this sound sensible?
