how can you change patterns on the uno drum?

I get that you can spin the data wheel. What if i wanted to go from 64 to 9 in a live situation? Seems a bit difficult. Am I right program change selects kits? Would have made more sense to make it select patterns. Then you could have used another device at least.

to answer my own question:

you need 1.02 and you send

F0 00 21 1A 02 02 35 00 oo F7

where oo is the pattern number you want
