UNO as drum machine

Today I've been using UNO arpeggiator to play
the drumkits in my hardware synths, as well as
multiple tracks in Sampletank 3. You can load a kit,
and using the UNO arp setting PLY, on Hold,
determine if any keys trigger samples that don't fit
your mood, avoid them, and cook up something special.
Then those of us not initialed J.R. can use the other arp modes
like up-down and random to extend and modify things.

You can also find kits focussing on brushes or cymbals,
and create filler that won't knock the guitarist into the next county.
And when on a good groove, begin adding in instrument sounds.

Having a UNO puts a lot of older hardware back in interest.
Bargains on rackmount synth modules from Korg, Roland, Kurzweil,
E-mu etc will be harder to pass up on, as will a modern feature/sound
packed synth like the Roland JD-Xi
Tomorrow I'll try the drums in Sonik Synth 2, some really good ones,
as I recall.
Cheers
