That is completely normal behaviour. It's tuning the oscillators.
Now, it may seem stupid to do this, because after 10 minutes of playing, the synth has warmed up, and my oscillators have drifted out of tune again. However, I raised this issue with IK, and they say that if you leave it inactive for a while (time not specified), it retunes itself, and I have indeed found this to be true.
You can also force it to retune, by pressing alt+tune at any time.
