I have put in a support ticket for this issue. I have had a look through the forum and it seems that this issue was encountered as far back as 2018 but remains unresolved.
I am using a windows computer using the latest version of Live 12, and the only version I could find of the editor (1.0.0) on the IK website.
The Uno Pro Synth is connected to the computer via USB. I am aware that this only provides a MIDI connection not audio.
When I insert the Uno Synth Pro editor into a track in Live the plugin reports 'waiting for uno'. When I click the burger menu on the plugin and I try to select the midi input and output, the Uno Midi output is red and the plugin does not connect.
Following further research through the forums I understand that I should try switching the UNO Midi input and output off for tracking, sync, control etc in Ableton Live preferences. Once I have done this I am able to select the UNO Midi output.
Changes I make to the controls on the plugin now make changes to the Uno Pro Synth sound engine - but the plugin still reports that is it waiting for the Uno. The controls on the plugin do not reflect the current state of the patch on the Uno Pro Synth.
I have spent much time looking through the forum pages, and have found many posts with the same issues. None have been resolved with an actual working fix. I have also searched through the various manuals, FAQs etc provided by IK.
Is there a fix for this issue? Will IK be updating the plugin to enable it to function in DAWs like Live on Windows?
