Uno Pro sequencing by cv / gate

First of all I assume in 1 and in 2 can be both cv and gate. is that correct?

Then for sequence by cv/gate with an external sequencer i do with matrix
1) source cv 1 in to pitch
2) source gate 2 in to what????

the problem is that there is no gate destination.

I tried this

gate 2 in to amp env amount 64

but i need to push the hold button to work

Is there any way to save this configuration for all the presets and sequence by cv like in midi?.
