According to comments posted 2 days ago in their latest YouTube video, IKM have said this.

We have found some things we need to tidy up for the release so we expect MODO BASS 2 to be available in May. Thank you for your patience.

Is it just me or, given that it was previously announced to be released in April, does anyone else think that it's a bit disrespectful for IKM to have posted this news as a comment to a YT video before having informed those of us who have already pre-ordered and paid for it?

I would certainly have appreciated an official update. Like many here I have paid for my preorder and they have my contact details so I'm sure that a proper update was/is possible.

Good point and one I hope IKM heeds. I've loved modo bass 1 long time, and IKMs products, for the most part, but keeping us in the dark is not very reassuring from this end. Simple fix with better communication. I won't be offended by an extra email that is not advertising/marketing but informational instead. Thanks for listening. Internal deadlines are healthy. P assing them on to customers, in this way, is maybe something to learn from.
