Way to make Modo Bass sound like an 8 string guitar?

Basically what the title says (Something like Meshuggah, Periphery and Animals as Leaders guitar tone, but on Modo Bass). I know that Modo Bass is a bass guitar plugin and not an 8 string guitar plugin, but can it still be done?
