Modo drum tracks in Amplitube 5 DAW

Postby thandabolt87 » Fri May 28, 2021 9:37 pm

Hey! Very new to home recording, so I really don't know a whole lot about how to use DAWs and plugins in General.

All I really want to do is make some drum tracks in modo drummer and play guitar over them to make some home demos to work out ideas. What is the easiest way for me to do this? I play drums mainly and have an e kit at home, but I don't mind mapping in a DAW either. I'm coming to realize you can't do that in the DAW which comes with AmpliTube, or am I missing something? Do I need to get another DAW to do this? Thanks!

I don't think you can use MODO DRUM in the AmpliTube recorder. You'll quickly want to use a more complete DAW anyway. What kind of computer do you have? I'm on a MacBook Pro, and Logic Pro X is pretty hard to beat at a pay one price of $199. It has everything you need to get going. Lots of other options out there as well.
